Trepke http://www..com Herbs to improve circulation Hello dear friends who want to become younger, So we are talking about Raynauds phenomenon and how to imporve circulation in the extremeties. Let me give you some good all around herbs to improve circulation and increase blood flow...... Ginkgo Biloba has been touted as an herb to improve memory, but it does much more then that. Actually what it does is dilate the small blood vessels in the body, so naturally more blood flow to the brain, function improves. The same is true for any part of the body, increased blood flow, increased function. It works on the entire body, not just the brain. So you can take it to improve blood flow to the body period!! It also protects cells from low oxygen situations and inhibits platelets from sticking together and clogging samll vessels. It is also an anti-oxidant. Do not take Ginkgo if you routinely take aspiritn or blood thinners such as warfarin. Bilberry, which I talked about the other day, is also good for improving the circulation in the body. It's anthocyanosides are powerful antioxidants that inhibit the release of inflammatory compounds, help maintain the health of capillaries, and relax small blood vessels, all good things for people with poor circulation. IT also helps preserves the small vessels after circulation has been temporarily and drastically curtailed, which happen upon exposure to cold. Garlic is the next herb I want to talk about. Like Ginkgo it inhibits platelets from clumping, breaks up clots, lowers blood pressure and cholesterol and is also a good antioxidant. Eat Garlic daily or often. Get everyone in your family to eat it, you nobody will notice the smell!! At least those in your family!!LOL Cayenne pepper is an herb that I take daily, and I use it in my food. IT is a powerful antioxidant, it reduces blood cholesterol and platelet stickiness. IT also warms you up!! A plus for sure. Here is a good trick. You can apply an ointment containing cayenne pepper or it's active ingredient " capsacin " to hands and feet. These creams are now available in most pharmacies. A powerful antiinflammatory also.
