Guest guest
Great to know coming into the heart of the holiday season... Misty L. Trepke http://www..com Natural Silver Polish Recipe 1/2 cup Baking Soda 1/4 cup Lemon Juice Pour the baking soda into a bowl, and place jewelry in the bowl. Pour the lemon juice in the bowl, and let it react. Let it sit for 5- 7 min. Take it out and rinse it with water, drying with a towl. Alternate instructions for jewelry with crevices or places where water might collect and cause tarnishing: After you rinse it off, cover it in plain baking soda, rub it around to get the baking soda in all the cracks. Take it out and let it dry for 2 or 3 min. Then get an old toothbrush and brush the baking soda out of the cracks. This may take awhile, but it will keep the water from being stuck in the crevices and tarnishing all over again, as well as prevent any lemony smell. Once all of the baking soda is out, you are done! And you have a nicely polished piece of jewelry to wear.
