Guest guest
Hi Dawne... It is a perfect idea to discuss that sort of question here at S-A. Thank you for thinking of bringing it to our attention... Since you are so experienced at internet research, I trust you can find a wealth of information on-line. To further that, I encourage you to visit our links, if you click on the nutrition file, and just keep following the vegetarian/living food files, you will find some of the sites that I have bookmarked... For off line resources, Ann Wigmore is right at the top, as one of the leading founders of the living foods movement. She has many books about how to sprout, the value of sprouting, and many of the things that can be sprouted: from alfalfa sprouts to wheatgrass... I also greatly recommend, " Survival Into the 21rst Century " by Viktoras Kulvinskas. If I could only choose one book that would be my choice- it outlines so many aspects of alternative medicine- from picking wild edible herbs, to reflexology, to how to read a person's face to understand which challenges are present, and of course a full discourse on different diets and their benefits, including sprouting. Please understand if I do not have the time, nor the patience, to repeat all of that information here, but these sources should definiately put you in the right direction... Sprouting I believe is one of the most efficient forms of agriculture, though it does require a good amount of clean water. But I think you are onto a wonderful idea... Best Wishes, Misty L.
