Guest guest
Comments? Yes, indeed. While I agree that the information in this post is helpful and, in large, correct, I do believe it is also dangerous and/or misleading to suggest that a " cure " could be so easily available. Diabetes can at best be prevented or its onset can be delayed, but once manifested, it can be managed throughout the rest of one's life and become relatively asymptomatic or namely free of symptoms. But that requires lifelong management. Diabetes is a silent killer and therefore must be monitored lifelong. Once diagnosed, one can never return to the lifestyle that caused diabetes, a life of dietary excess and a life without or with minimal exercise, without a return of symptoms and a decline in health and well-being. Likewise, prevention means major dietary and lifestyle changes. There are many nutrients that can help manage diabetes or assist in prevention such as cinnamon, magnesium, gymnema sylvestre, bitter melon extract, chromium, vanadium, and others. These must be combined with a diet that restricts sugars and refined carbohydrates and a lifestyle that includes daily aerobic exercise. Diabetes can be managed and prevented without prescription medications but it cannot be cured any more than our chronological age can be reversed. Diabetes is a disease of aging and must be managed in the same manner that aging is optimally managed. We cannot yet cure aging to the extent that a 70 year old can become 18 and remain 18 for dozens or more years. In the same manner, we cannot cure diabetes and live the same sort of lifestyle lived by an 18 year old. Playing fast and loose with diabetes, without serious and lifelong management with diet, exercise and nutrient supplementation, is itself a deadly diabetes deception. Trepke http://www..com <http://www..com/> Our Deadly Diabetes Deception " [long, but very INSIGHTFUL] Our Deadly Diabetes Deception By Thomas Smith 10-18-4 Diabetes introduction If you are an American diabetic, your physician will never tell you that most diabetes is curable. In fact, if you even mention the cure word around him, he will likely become upset and irrational. His medical school training only allows him to respond to the word treatment. For him, the cure word does not exist. Diabetes, in its modern epidemic form, is a curable disease and has been for at least 40 years.
