Guest guest
Thanks Kat for the link. > Dr. Mercola has a good article at > http://www.mercola.com/2000/nov/5/vegetarian_homocysteine.htm > that talks a lot about why one needs red meat in their > diet. I'll read it later as I'm rushing out to an aromatherapy workshop. One question for you to consider in the meantime. Assuming a person really cannot afford to get organic red meat - do you feel the risk associated with medicated beef, for example, is worth it? I mean, if the liver breaks down toxins do we overload it with " bad meat " just so it can have the *benefit* of eating meat? Just curious. Lots of stuff out there about GMO animal feed, dioxin and breast cancer - for example, that one has to stop and wonder. What about cultures that never really ate red meat? Say India where cows are sacred? I suppose they might eat other red meats? And what constitutes red meat? Is pork really " the other white meat " ? OR is it a red meat? Is emu red meat? I visited an emu farm and was very surprised by what I learned there about the health benefits of emu meat. And this farm is organic too so there wouldn't be a worry about meds and animal feed. > If you'd like more detailed explanation, please let me > know and I'll try to give better, more in-depth > information. Well, pls consider my questions above and share your thoughts. I might have more to say/ask after I've read the link. cheers, dawne > Mail - You care about security. So do we.
