Guest guest
Dear Nil, I know how discouraged and tired you could be feeling, but part of your recovery involves getting outside and moving. I suggest you force yourself to walk around the block at least three times a week. Make a wall chart to keep track with a star for each day you accomplish your goal. I think you will find that in a few weeks you can increase your goal slightly. For example, one day you may decide to go around the block twice, so that will earn you two stars for that day. Then the other two times you still might walk only one block, but the total stars for that week will be four. As you go on, you might give yourself another star for doing 30 crunches as you watch the news. This would earn you another star for that day. 30 squats will also earn you a star. You will be surprised how this adds to your energy. I think the chart is important as a reminder. I would put it on the wall where I would see it, not leave it on a desk in a pile of papers. So, today your assignment is to make an exercise chart and tack it to your wall. By next Sunday, your assignment is to walk three times around the block. Here's to a healthier you!
