Guest guest
Dawne, If you will get a new juicer I might advise you to get a one with low speed. High speed ones oxidize the extract more quickly. If I remember correctly Dr. Mercola had an article on juicers at his site. You might wish to check.Good way to check it is looking at the extracted joice. As the color turns darker quickly, more nutirients are oxidized. best regards. Nil - Just Dawne Wednesday, July 28, 2004 10:13 PM [s-A] juicing disappointment I'm a little bummed out over my " new " juicer that I got a yard sale. I didn't expect a really, really good juicer. I didn't expect to juice citrus, bananas for veggies but I did expect to have a fairly easy time with apples, blueberries etc.,
Guest guest
Carol, What I don't like about mine is the fact that one must use ice cubes with the veges when grinding them. The " juice " that results is largely water and too much volume. I would much prefer pure juice. Extracted fiber can always be added into the pure juice if desired. Guest guest
Ron - you might want to try making apple juice ice cubes and use those instead of the extra water. That works good for me, so you don't get all the extra water. Apple juice seems to taste good with any veggie juice (at least the ones I have made).
