Guest guest
Thanks to everyone who helped shed some light on the question of water and how much we need. I really feel that it would be a rare person indeed who could drink too much water since most of us do not get close to what we need at minimum. We're working on drinking one quart for every 50 pounds of body weight and one extra quart for good measure. The kids get excited when they reach their goal. they rush in and tell me all about it. Now I'll work on getting us to drink loads between meals and not very much during meals. this will be a big hurdle - especially at the grandparent's house. I didn't realize that distilled water was so bad for us. I'm glad to know it. I think I've only seen distilled water once. Or at least once that it was clearly on the label. Pardon the dumb question but what is demineralized water? I looked at a bottle of Aquafina and that is what it said " demineralized " . Then I've seen oxygenated and a few other science-like words. All I want to know is " IS this water pure, or not? " You'd think that question would be easy to answer. It isn't! I've found a water cooler that I like that is affordable but I don't know what company to buy the water from. I wonder if I should just get a water filtration system? When it comes right down to rating our tap water Nova Scotia has a very good rating. In fact, my husband thinks paying for water is a waste of money b/c of how clean our water is. But I don't know too much about who rated the water or what they were testing for etc.., Anyway, thanks for all of the answers even if they bring up more questions dawne
