Guest guest
Jan, I don't see anywhere at the watercure.com site that suggests that you add salt to your water. I know and agree that you need salt in your diet, but my opinion is that the best water is pure water. Not salted water. Not water with a lemon slice in it. Pure water. Pure water is the easiest water for the body to use. Salt may be something you need to be sure to include in your diet, but I believe it should be taken in with the food, not with the water. It is very sad that the MDs tell people to take antacids and never mention water. My mother-in-law, who will only listen to MDs, has now been told by them that since her sodium is low she needs to limit her water intake. That logic astounds me. When MDs see low magnesium, they want you to take a magnesium supplement. When they see low B6 they want you to take a B6 supplement. When they see low calcium, potassium, etc., they want you to take a supplement of whatever is low...and here they tell you when you have low sodium to DECREASE your water intake????? The only thing I see happening with the restricted water intake is that she will now wind up in kidney failure and on dialysis, where they will then tell her she cannot have any water. It's hard to watch where modern medicine has gone. Kat Mail is new and improved - Check it out!
