Guest guest
Thanks Grant... So much for that... I was wondering if it was food poisoning... Guess not... Do you get these reactions when you do other detoxes? Like wheatgrass? If so, it could very well be a detox reaction... Then I definately agree with more water (actually it doesn't take a reaction to make me agree with the suggestion of more water, we all need it). Then I would say do raw juices, focus on alkalizing foods and strengthen the liver... Otherwise, have you tried other brands of spirulina? Perhaps this one just does not agree with you? Or perhaps go to a cousin of spirulina like blue green algae, or chlorella- I hear the open celled type of chlorella is best... Others here may have much more to add on that subject... Please let us know how this goes for you... Best Wishes, Misty http://www..com , Grant <nessie@s...> wrote: > Meal was small green salad, potatoes. Guest guest
Personally, I like the aphanizominon flos aquae (blue green algae) – because, of the 3 mentioned, it is the only “natural” one – meaning that spirulina and chlorella are both grown in huge cement ponds and are fed only what somebody thinks they need. Whereas the blue green algae grows wild and fed by nature, so it is more nutrient dense, and the nutrients are not limited to those that are artificially added to the growing environment. Maybe it is just too powerful a food for your body. Maybe first try going with plant based enzymes and probiotics to prepare your body for the benefits of the algae, and then maybe use only ½ capsule to start, or even ¼, for a couple weeks and slowly add more until your body gets used to it. Sounds like you are de-toxing too rapidly.
