Guest guest
I hesitate to tell you this because when we did it I had very little knowledge...I was just getting into alternative methods...........my husband got up one Sat morning with a swollen jaw......and pain......but did not want to go to the dentist since he had had an experience earlier with them pulling a tooth that had abscessed.....WOW...I suggested he start on mega doses of Vit C every half hour-------like 10,000mg for the first 3 hrs every half hour and then drop to 5,,000 for the next 3 hours every half hour or until his stomach became gripey.......I went out of town and he followed my instructions......when I got home late that afternoon the pain was less and the swelling was less.....he continued the Vit C and got up the next morning and the swelling was much better and the pain was gone...continued Sunday on Vit C as tolerated and Monday morning he went to work with no pain and no swelling and continued the Vit C all that week (as tolerated) and think he still has the tooth but we are not sure because we do not remember which tooth it was......at any rate, he did not go to dentit to have a tooth pulled for several years.........we do remember that.......We have been a big believer in Vitamin C ever since......... I dont know how the cavities work or how many feet of tubes, etc there is but I do know that he definitely had an abscess........big time....... he has enjoyed good health without the need of a medical doctor for most of our married life (50 yrs) until a couple of years ago..........and he is 75 now...... Misty and Catherine, homeopathy surely sounds interesting.........havent gotten into that.....I do the vitamins, minerals, etc, Bach and essential oils and that is about my limit.........also have some other equipment....and am interested in learning so thanks for all the good stuff Misty, and your patience with all of us......
