Guest guest
Misty and Jerry Last year I had a tooth break in half - inside part broke off + filling. It was previously filled. Top right jaw - 4th tooth from the center. There was no sensitivity to hot or cold, about 10 days later, I had a pounding " tooth ache " under my eye. My dentist said it wasn't the tooth or root infected - but suspected it was infected sinuses for which he gave me antibiotics. He reconstructed the tooth - making it look like a whole tooth. There is no pain, or sensitivity to hot or cold and I could eat on this side, but dont as I feel it is unstable. The next tooth is OK, but have had the last two top teeth removed. If I press in inch below my eye - directly above the tooth, level with my cheek bone, it feels " spongy " . Inside my mouth, High up on my gum line I have a lump. there is no pain. If I tap the tooth there is mild discomfort. I went to the dentist a few months ago with the intention of having it removed as the lump was disturbing and I know it is not right. I had the fortune/misfortune of seeing the young, newly qualified dentist in the practice who was pressurizing me for root canal treatment. My one experience of root canal was such a painful and traumatic one, it resulted in me walking around for a year with the cotton wool temporary filling/plug, before finding the courage to find another dentist to remove the tooth. Last year I consulted my homeopath who prescribed three doses of Merc Viv CM. I dont think it has done anything During this time I have been self treating with Hepar Sulp M when I remember I dont really want to burst it with low potency. .. I have taken a few doses of Silica 30, but have heard that silica removes foreign objects/splinters etc, and dont want it to start expelling my fillings. My question to Misty - what homeopathic treatment would you recommend to reduce this abscess My question to Jerry - I think it its a cold abcess on the root - Is there anything to be done to save this tooth other than root treatment which I will not consider - Can the abcess be lanced? would this be recommended? Will the anaesthetic injection take effect? I have heard that if you have an infection, the injection just doesn't work. I have got my appointment for 10th June. I am going overseas on holiday end June/July so dont want any tooth problems while I am away Regards Annette Annette van Rensburg PO BOX 1565 KELVIN 2054 SOUTH AFRICA PHONE 0027 11 804 1976
