Guest guest
Misty, Of course it's the terrain - but it's all relative. Stick a really healthy individual with a needle loaded with bacteria, and s/he probably will get a horrible result. The infected tooth is the " needle loaded with bacteria " and the body's healthy terrain can't get in there to fight it - and the protected bugs excrete their toxins continually - and even a healthy terrain cannot always resist. Dental Prevention includes keeping ones terrain healthy with rest, exercise, good nutrition, and a peaceful consciousness, and eliminating bacteria with good oral hygiene - and eating the right foods so as not to encourage bacterial flora growth in the mouth. Again, this is not something we can lay to rest in 4 or 5 paragraphs. In our practice, we had " Dental Disease Therapists " actually teaching this on a one-on-one basis. We try to do it now in our newsletter. I appreciate your understanding.
