I usually just boil 1/4 cup in one cup of water for at least 20 minutes, but recently came across this article and thought I'd try it, too. I think I'd have them more often if I did this. 1/4 cup oats 1 cup water sauté in butter, then simmer covered undisturbed for 25 minutes.
