Is there anything that could be done to a tooth other than having it crowned? I've had 2 teeth crowned, and the other option was to have them pulled because they were 75% decayed. Carol A. S. [glkbreeze] We need to be more adventurous about pursuing alternatives to root canals and crown because they degrade the health. I had assumed they were unavoidable but now that I have two crown which both cause me mild discomfort and worry, I wish I had left them uncrowned.
