Guest guest
I am looking for a real inexpensive supplier of Vitamin C crystals or powder I can purchase online. I do not want buffered C. Just plain Ascorbic Acid. Or maybe Ascorbic Acid with added bioflavanoids. I am willing to buy in quantity (1-2 kilos) if that will give me a bargain. Guest guest
I used the search function on the website you posted, but get nothing close to vitamin C crystals. No taste. I have been using buffered vit. C for years and recently started occasionally using the Alacercorp products ( " that fizzy stuff " ). Tonight I was looking for my particular flavor on their website and stumbled across a proposal they wrote apparently to the FDA regarding vit. C. It's a quite interesting read. http://www.alacercorp.com/fdaproposal.htm

Anyone have experience with Ester-C? It has quite a hefty price tag... I remember when life used to be simple... or maybe I only think I remember it but instead read it in one of those " Once upon a time... Guest guest
Evening I have been using buffered vit. C for years and recently started occasionally >using the Alacercorp products ( " that fizzy stuff " ). Yes, I think that fizzy stuff is OK. I keep it in a number of flavors and give away lots of it to friends trying to get them hooked on vitamins and minerals. Don't overlook another great product made by them as well. It is called SuperGram III. I don't hesitate to take 3 or 4 of these per day, especially when working out in the heat. These seem to cause the heat to have less of a bad effect and one feels better after a few hours of sweating. Wayne
Guest guest
FOOD FOR THOUGHT " Vitamin C is essential for the building of collagen, the most abundant protein built in our bodies and the major component of connective tissue. This connective tissue has structural and supportive functions which are indispensable to heart tissues, to blood vessels, --in fact, to all tissues. Collagen is not only the most abundant protein in our bodies, it also occurs in larger amounts than all other proteins put together. It cannot be built without vitamin C. No heart or blood vessel or other organ could possibly perform its functions without collagen. No heart or blood vessel can be maintained in healthy condition without vitamin C. " - Roger J.
