Guest guest
Lynn, Yes - as fresh, organic, and as raw as possible, and also eat " close to home " (meaning eat produce from your general area if possible). I think probably heat destroys vitamins, but I don't know to what extent. I have a Vita Mix that I use all the time, instead of a juicer, and use fresh fruits and veggies in it. Carol MRSCM4871 [MRSCM4871] Thanks Carol. One would have to make sure that the produce is very fresh and eat it right away would'nt they? I have heard that produce loses it vitamin C rapidly? Also, does heat destroy Vit C? I know that I perfer to juice raw veggies and fruit to get the optimal benefits from them. Lynn
