Yes - as fresh, organic, and as raw as possible, and also eat " close to

home " (meaning eat produce from your general area if possible). I think

probably heat destroys vitamins, but I don't know to what extent. I

have a Vita Mix that I use all the time, instead of a juicer, and use

fresh fruits and veggies in it.

Thanks Carol. One would have to make sure that the produce is very

fresh and

eat it right away would'nt they? I have heard that produce loses it

vitamin

C rapidly? Also, does heat destroy Vit C? I know that I perfer to

juice raw

veggies and fruit to get the optimal benefits from them.
