Just cut off part of a fresh root, boil it until the water turns dark,allow it to cool and drink it with honey ? You can make it as strong or weak as you like, similiar to herbal or black/green tea. I brew it every few days and store it in the frig and have it as a refreshing iced tea. Ginger also calms you down when you are nervous and....... there are reports out there which state it reduces cholesterol as well !
