According to practitioners, electrodermal screening measures disturbances in the body's acupuncture meridians and their associated organs or systems, and the collected information can then be used to determine which medicine or combination of medicines will correct the disturbances. This method utilises an electronic system known as the " LISTEN " or " ORION " system that draws upon concepts and methods used in eastern and western medicine. These include homeopathy, acupuncture, herbal medicine and treatments based on our knowledge of anatomy, physiology and chemistry. I was tested via the " LISTEN " electrodermal screening system. " LISTEN " claims to test for parasites and viruses as well as a range of other conditions . The practitioner found ToxoPlasma in the Vagal nerve, the stomach and the cervical spine; Rickettsia in the brain, & EB Virus in the pancreas. He also identified chloride intolerance, and confirmed the heavy metals As/Pb/Hg, and cyanide. The LISTEN machine is claimed to have a healing as well as a diagnostic function. I do not really understand it, but I had to hold on to some electrodes while some drops he made up (I do not know what was in them) were placed on the machine and thus their 'energy' (?) transmitted into me. Something like that. Not quite sure what I think about that bit. He also gave me some of the drops to take orally for a few weeks, and also a remedy called Paracea (BioCeuticals) which contains Artemisinin, Black walnut and Citrus seed. I still take the Paracea three days a month (at the new moon, which is evidently the hatching time for parasites (?)). He also added zinc to my already heavy supplementation program. He wanted to add ALA but I refused - at the time I still had amalgams in my mouth and had not begun chelation and had no intention of doing so immediately. A month after the first treatment I went back and he claimed that the Rickettsia was gone, and the toxoplasm down 95%, but that more mercury and arsenic could be " seen " . He wanted to treat the heavy metals with drops and ALA but once again I refused those particular interventions after he only gave very vague evasive answers when I queried him about what he thought of the claim that ALA is dangerous to use whilst mercury is in the mouth, and for some time afterwards. I got the sense he had not heard of that before, but perhaps I just did not phrase my questions very well. I am not sure how much these organisms and the other factors he identified were influencing my condition and how much his remedies are implicated in my improvement. As well, my regular doctor had already identified Helicobacter bacterium, which he got rid of by a combination of Olive leaf tincture, Losec, and Rejuvenex. I am not sure whether I have completely eliminated the organisms that were detected. I intend to go back to the LISTEN practitioner after awhile. Despite some degree of skepticism to parts of the procedure I would still recommend checking it out.
