Guest guest
I've decided to start juicing instead of cooking my veggies in the winter. Nutritionally or otherwise does it make any difference which juicer you use? Recommendations? Is Vitamix any big deal? Sheryl
Guest guest
Sheryl, A juicer and a Vitamix are two very different appliances. I have a Vitamix, and it is indeed a " big deal " - with a big price to match! With a juicer, you eliminate all the nutritious fiber - although you could probably find a use for it in breads or whatever. The juice from a juicer gets digested quicker because it has no fiber. With a Vitamix you get the whole food, and it breaks the fiber down so fine that it releases more juice from the cells than a juice extractor does. I always think that whole foods are better than just the extracted juice.
