Guest guest
Ange, I hope you will find the information below helpful. May God Bless and Guide You, Darryl Milligan http://www.progressive-wellness.com/ Alternative Medicine For ADD Or Change Eating Habits What is causing Attention Deficit Disorder ( ADD )? People do not have a Ritalin Deficiency - American people (and children have a real nutritional deficiency. We see kids that are obese, with diabetes and other diseases we used to call old age diseases. Do we want our kids to dig their grave with their teeth? You will notice that the adults are doing the same things and getting the same results, but everyone just says that they are getting old. Don't believe it! Alternative medicine for ADD can help but eating habits and life style changes must come first or you will limit the effectiveness that the alternative medicine for ADD has. Why not start with removing the bad eating habits 1st. Attention Deficit Disorder is now something that is affecting a large part of our population. The reason is our eating habits and life style. Consuming fast food, soft drinks, sugar, and white flour are a large cause of the problem. Add the high fat, low nutrient eating habits of most Americans and you have Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) or ADHD. Yes their is alternative medicine for ADD but we must start with diet changes! I recommend that you visit our page on Blood Rouleau to see what problems the average American has in their blood. You will also see recommendations for 80% of the food everybody should eat for wellness. Today's Ritalin users could be tomorrows drug users. What ever happened to the just say no to drugs program? People are being ruined by the soft drinks and fast food. Remember you do have a choice alternative medicine for ADD / ADHD, change eating habits, or drugs! I highly recommend this book: The A.D.D. and A.D.H.D. Diet! Updated: A Comprehensive Look at Contributing Factors and Natural Treatments for Symptoms of Attention Deficit Disorder and Hyperactivity by Rachel Bell and Dr Howard Peiper. Quote from page 59: It has been well documented through animal studies, especially those conducted by Dr. Francis Pottenger in the 1930's, that a cooked food diet depletes the body's natural enzymes, resulting in old age diseases showing up long before old age. We are seeing this trend in our young people - short term memory loss, ailments of the colon and digestive tract, pancreatitis, arthritis, ulcers - not what you might expect of one of wealthiest countries in the world. Or is it? Enzymes are essential in maintaining internal cleanliness, health, youth , and strength. Dr. Richard Anderson considers them to be, Far more important than any other nutrient. He says, Proteins cannot be utilized without enzymes, nor can vitamins and minerals. Enzymes are destroyed after use and must be constantly replaced. Cooked foods draw from the enzyme reserves, depleting the body's precious ' labor force.' Enzymes are produced by the pancreas. When cooked and processed foods use up enzymes at every meal, the pancreas gets tired. This compromises the immune system and may complicate the symptoms of ADD / ADHD. To reduce the extra work of the pancreas and to conserve your supply of body enzymes you can supplement your diet with plant enzymes every time you eat cooked or processed food.
