Guest guest
Rissam writes a commendable essay advising us to get more activity in our lives. But his explanation for why so many of us don't exercise, is nonsense. Saying that people don't exercise, " because they are plain lazy, " is devoid of meaning. Laziness, and a lack of exercise, mean the same same thing. In fact, people fail to exercise because they're conditioned by years of inactivity in their earliest years, to not engage in it. If Rissam wants grown-ups to exercise, he'd be better off calling for mandatory exercise programs applied at the earliest possible point in kindergarten and the first grades. JP - " Misty L. Trepke " <mistytrepke A HEARTY WALK By Dr H. S. Rissam Most people avoid exercising not because they do not have the time, but because they are plain lazy.
