I do not drink sodas ever, and I don't have sugar either. I drink 3 cups of green tea, at least 1/2 gallon of water, and some decaf w/cream. That's usual for every day. Sometimes some other herbal teas. The doctor didn't seem alarmed about the blood but he's running lots of tests. I go up and down with getting enough fresh veggies and very little fruit due to diabetes. Fruit really messes me up! I do try to have veggies with every meal and snack on organic carrots. I'm morbidly obese and have been for over 10 years. - " Darryl Milligan " <dkmill Sunday, January 11, 2004 6:11 PM [s-A] Re: Question about blood Deana, I assume you are drinking soda. If this assumption is correct please stop. This could be part of the problem. A friend of mine had very thick blood and corrected it by removing the soft drinks, coffee, and tea for about 30 days. I recommend that you eliminate soft drinks all together, limit coffee, tea, white flour, and sugar. I also recommend eating as much raw fruits and vegetables as possible. The more fresh and natural the foods you eat the better. You may want to check your pH and see where you are. A saliva pH of 7.0 to 7.5 would be preferred. This check should be done as the first thing in the morning. Bring up saliva 3 times the first 2 times spit it in the sink the 3 time test your pH. This should be done 3 to 7 times in a row to rule out any good or bad days. I hope this helps.
