Hi Sam...

Ok, limiting the amounts of chemicals that go in, is a good

start... But some we just can't help... What is in the air, what

is in our environment... We can filter, but unless we walk in a

plastic bubble- " stuff " is going to get through...

So then we need ways to help assist the body in clearing that junk

out, at least what can be cleared... Then we are in the territory

of detoxing... There are many, many detoxing programs/routines

available...

With the start of a new year, I like to do a detox myself, to create

a " fresh, cleaner " new me. My internet research led me to this

site... http://www.holisticmed.com/detox/detox.html

It looks pretty complete, it has: colon, lymph, skin, liver, lung,

kindney, etc., cleanses... And tells you in which order to do them

to be most effective.

I also highly recommend fasting- start slow though... One day a

week, just do fresh juices and/or herbal teas, and build up to a

once a week water fast. Or make it part of a daily routine: juice

for the morning until 12:00, then have a simple, raw veggie ladden

lunch and dinner, and be sure to not eat after 8:00pm so that body

has between 8:00pm-noon, a whole 16 hours to " clean " .

I hope that helps,
