Hi Grant...

Ok, first let me say, math is not my strong point... Hopefully it

is yours... I found these conversion tables at the site listed

below... It seems different nutrients have different conversion

rates- which doesn't help make this any easier... But, at least I

can help you some...

Use the information below to help convert International Units (IU)

to micrograms and milligrams for the four nutrients that are

typically given in different units of measure from the DRIs

---

Nutrient: Vitamin A and ß-carotene

Conversion: IU x 0.3 = µg µg x 3.33 = IUs

Example of how to convert:

700 µg of Vitamin A multiplied by 3.33 equals 2333 IU of Vitamin A

Nutrient: Vitamin D

Conversion: IU x 0.025 = µg µg x 40 = IU

Example of how to convert:

5 µg of Vitamin D multiplied by 40 equals 200 IU of Vitamin D

Nutrient: Vitamin E (synthetic source)

Conversion: IU x 0.45 = mg mg x 2.22 = IU

Example of how to convert:

15 mg of synthetic Vitamin E multiplied by 2.22 equals 33 IU of

synthetic Vitamin E

Nutrient: Vitamin E (natural source)

Conversion: IU x 0.67 = mg mg x 1.49 = IU

Example of how to convert:

15 mg of natural Vitamin E multiplied by 1.49 equals 22 IU of

natural Vitamin E
