Guest guest
Hi Renea... Hiatus hernia is a mechanical breakdown, and can be dealt with through mechanical means- such as chiropractic, and I have heard of an exercise with a tennis ball that is pushed into the body around the sternum, and then down, to coax the hernia down... (Moderate pressure is fine, you don't want to hurt the zyphoid process at the tip of the sternum...) But then the question becomes why was the body weak and suspectible enough for such a thing to happen... That is why it is good to follow through homeopathically, to help the body regain it's balance and integrity... So, I looked up in the homeopathic repetory to see what I could find... The leading remedy for acidic eructations is lycopodium. If instead the taste is bitter, those leading remedies are: arnica, china, nat-s, nux-v, podo and puls. Then we can look at when they happen, after all meals, after a particular meal, during the night,.... So any other details about the acid reflux/hiatus hernia as well as any other striking symptoms you are experiencing- even if they seem unrelated to you, would be extremely helpful... Once we have those details, I can show you how to figure out which remedy might be best for you... And last, but not least, is the need to drink lots of water... At least a gallon through out the day, but also try to get in a gallon in the morning- or as close to as you can... I hope that helped some... Be Well, Misty L.
