Guest guest
Hi... Rather than trying to " kill the candida " I would offer a " heal the whole system " approach. Candida is larger than just yeast, and I think people can get focused on " candida, candida, candida... " but it is only the symptom of a larger system imbalance. One of the reasons it is so " hard to treat " according to many is, in my opinion, because of that narrow view. So anything that improves the body as a whole, and obviously including digestion and elimination is a good thing. I think you are on the right track... Juice fasting, and I would start with wheatgrass juice, is a great way to go... Perhaps also include a one day a week water fast... I would also drink a gallon of water within 1/2hr. of waking, and another gallon through out the day... I know that sounds impossible, but if people did it, I think the whole face of health would change. I would also ask what makes you think you do have candida? What are the specific symptoms? The reason I ask, is by treating those symptoms homeopathically, not only would those expressions of disease become better, but it would also strengthen the system as a whole. We have been so programmed to think treating symptoms is bad. Suppressing symptoms is bad, but in reality treating them is very good. Why? Because those individual symptoms are what give us insight into the larger picture. By treating them, our foot is in the door that allows us to access and strengthen the larger, underlying health picture. The other reason I ask, and please don't take this in the wrong way, is because many new practitioners, myself included, will often self- diagnose themselves to have what they have recently studied. For example, when studying homeopathy I would think, " Man, that is my remedy, it fits me to a tee " , that was until I studied the next two or three remedies and I would say to myself, " Hmm, that sounds like me too " ... That is not to say you don't have candida, or that was not the perfect remedy for me, but just take it with a grain of salt as you go along... But if you follow the: " improve the whole approach " , you will win either way. I hope that helps... Be Well, Misty L.
