Guest guest
I don't know about wheat grass, but cilantro will also do a heavy metal cleanse ...BlueWillow ---- Monday, October 20, 2003 12:05:44 PM [s-A] Regarding Juicing I read the juicing interview with great interest. Really inspirational. One comment, though, is the mention of using chlorella. From my experience with the AMALGAM group, some people have serious reactions to chlorella, even a tiny bit. Their explanation is that it is chelating heavy metals such as mercury and moving it around the body. I wonder if Dr. Schulze has experience with such reactions, or reactions in general that need to be watched? Another question: if a person has a reaction to wheat, will they react to wheat grass? Guest guest
Barry, You're right about the chlorella - many people have problems with it - it is very hard to digest because of the massive hard cellulose cell wall. You'd be better off with a different kind of algae - aphanizomenon flos aquae (AFA). AFA has more chlorophyll than chlorella - chlorella is a green algae, where AFA is a blue/green algae. AFA has more active micronutrients and minerals than chlorella.
