Guest guest
Hi Deana, Wouldn't it be nice if it were that simple? Unfortunately, the last thirty years have shown us that considering the body as a bucket of chemicals that can be manipulated at will, is hardly a viable approach, which is testified to by the link between HRT and cancer... What is more unfortunate, the wise women who did carry this knowledge of how to naturally aid women, have mostly been wiped out... This makes me sad, thinking about how natural solutions are being suppressed now, but then to wonder just how much we have already lost, all the wise women and men, whose knowledge had to be suppressed in order to make way for big Medicine... Now to add misery to misfortune, soy, which is considered a phyto- estrogen, or a plant source of estrogen that the body will convert to estrogen as needed, is one of the most genetically modified crops available, and therefore, in good conscience, I can no longer recommend... That does leave wild yam extract, but if it really is an extract, then it violates the wholistic rule, at least in my book, and makes it more like a natural substance used according to allopathic principles and methods... So where to go from here? Good general health maintainence... Lots of water, wheatgrass juice, exercise, whole foods, stress reduction, and then consider remedies for the given complaints...
