Guest guest
Dear Misty, I am aware what the board is about, and am quite happy to discuss alternatives to allopathic medicine. I am sure that Homeopathy is effective for some people, but not all. I did try it for a long time, and it was completely ineffective in dealing with depression, and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (or ME), whereas acupuncture gave several benefits to both the depression and the tiredness. Homeopathy does not work for everyone, just as acupuncture doesn't either. Recommending both without considering other treatments is not overly helpful. I am comfortable discussing both natural and allopathic medicine, in fact, I got more benefit from alternative medicine for allergies and ME/CFS then I did from allopathic medicine which seemed to consist of anti-depressant after anti-depressant. I have no axe to grind over either school of medicine, and I think by keeping an open mind instead of being pro or anti any type of treatment will lend itself to far more solutions to illnesses.
