Hi, Dieter! I remember this exchange and glad to see you have gone ahead. How

about sharing some of your experiences and how acupuncture

has fit in.

I think the web ideas are good. You might try looking again at acupuncture.com

again and see what you think could be different than your

ideas.

Hi Douglas, yes, it has definitely been a struggle out of a heavily

emotionalized hubub to a much more reflected and consciuos working,

for myself and also i hope for our team and customers.

Most of the effort from my side was spent in building up trust and clarity,

establishing kind of " alpha-state " in this heavily pressured field of " drugs

and the hubub about it " .

Our six-bed detoxification flat has the simple NADA-5-Earpoints-sessions firmly

established, since i made a little seminar with those part-time students

who do the 24-hours presence there. this made a big difference, also closing a

gap of communication inside the team.

Made athmosphere a lot more friendly. Acupuncture is now regularly applied

and accepted, and not any more a " personal special " of mine.

I recommend it from a certain detox state on, its varying, we dont have exact

documentation and statistics yet, but the overall effect is that it enhances the

quality of the detox-groups athmosphere, making the whole process internally

more bearable for the individual, not so much that it alleviates withdrawel

symptoms, but more in helping us out into a more therapeutic kind of awareness.

at this point, maybe slightly [OT] here, i found the works of Carl R. Rogers

about non-directive counseling very helpful, since he really shows how we

also really dominantly inhibit healing and growth by our impatience, " that we

have to do something " about it. So i try to keep the focus on his: be genuine

to myself, try to exactly understand the feeling and mirror it, and accept,

dontjudge. This is the " general remedy " that i try to apply, realizing that i do

it maybe only 5 percent right.

On a more technical medical level, Now in springtime with those heavy chilly

winds from changing directions here in middle europe, leading to wind blocking

the channels (sudden heavy pain, torticollis, and similar), i often applied

single needle acupuncture on distant points of the concerned channel, with

" incredible " success, and so promoting chinese medicine, without myself having a

really

solid understanding of TCM that i dream of.

> I think the web ideas are good. You might try looking again at acupuncture.com

I looked at your site(its yours, isnt it) and i found some things interesting

for me, especially this article about western drugs seen with TCM-scope,

benzodiazepines drying out liver yin while suppressing the liverfire and

upshooting yang, and thats the vicious benzo-cycle isnt it? i must more

understand and be able to feed my customers, why the hepatitis c doesnt smile

at pills.

yes, found interesting stuff.

The idea i came from, was, to make up another " selfrunning module "

fitting for another subgroup of our 170 customers, e.g a herbal

formula, cheap and good, for depressive insomnia fitting for a big group

of benzodiazepinos, leading e.g. not to instant sleep, but to alpha-state

balancing. And the function would be to save doxepine, sleeppromoting

antidepressives, which i fear have also this yin-drying effect, not so much

with a fireup-rebound effect, but maybe for kidney, i dont know.

> Douglas (that's: )

hach, excuse me, the name distracted me, i mean, the name is german,

" strong like iron " , having such a name, makes the-little-guy-with-the-

badminton-rack-standing-on-the-football-field in me laugh;-)

so, that was long, all group excuse me for my verbosity, on what is not

mainstream TCM, but the approach of a poly-thread-eclectic in addiction

medicine

so thank you all, enjoy

Hello Dr. Schulze!

How old are you ?

How many Patients per Day?

Did they all take Cayenne?

" If you take cayenne pepper in capsules, you may be wasting your time

and never getting the cures I got with my patients. "

BISER: How can you say cayenne capsules are bad? I've heard from readers

who took cayenne in capsules and got great results!

SCHULZE: Well, fine. But I had thousands of patients who did the same

and who did not get

well - until they took my cayenne orally. I had many patients come in,

and I loved to test them.

Hi there. I am not trying to be argumentative or anything...but I am type "o" blood and I steam tofu in with rice and vegetables often. I don't get a bad reaction at all.

And I am familiar with bad reactions. For instance, I have a negative reaction to wheat and sugar...but not soy.

What is your definition of poisen? To me it's feeling your energy go down or feeling toxic after you eat something. I definitely feel very Okay eating soy....no problems at all...and I am not an A or AB blood type.

The reason I feel bad after eating soy is because I have lupus and it is related to estrogen. I get migraines and my lupus flares up with pains, etc.

Hi all,

I agree with Kristina. I have type O blood, as do

all 3 of my kids. We all drink soy milk and the kids

eat tofu when I make the french toast batter from it.

My kids have never had a problem with soy, though they

don't have it often or much of it when they do. I have

never had a problem with soy either, as an O blood

type.

There is a good book, however, about eating

according to your blood type. My radiation oncologist

wanted me to eat that diet during my cancer treatment.

I politely declined and told her I would stick with

macrobiotics. I did, however, when I needed the extra

protein, use some recipes from the book. I only used

the recipes that were specific to my O type blood. If

nothing else, there are alot of good recipes there!

The book is called " Eat Right For Your Type " , and it's

companion book is " Cook Right For Your Type " , by Dr.

Peter J. D'Adamo. I would highly recommend these 2

books for anyone concerned with eating foods that are

appropriate for your blood type.

Blessings,

Renee

Hi all,

I agree with Amelia too, about the soy and

estrogen. If you have estrogen related problems, I

would probably avoid the soy. There are many other

sources of good plant protein. Radiation killed off my

entire reproductive system, so many years before my

time, I no longer have to worry about estrogen related

problems! But I do agree that soy can aggravate PMS

and other female related issues.

Renee
