Dear Walt:

Thanks so much for recommending your web site, I found the information provided

about salt absolutely fascinating...as is your whole website! I found the

article on Balneotherapy - healing with water very interesting too.

Thanks again,

Evonne

>This is exactly the salt, and reasons for using it, that has prompted me to

recommend it on my website askwaltstollmd.com

See the salt archives, on the 'site, for more supportive information.<

That's great to know, Evonne - about salt on chiggers. I don't live in

an area with them, but my brother lives in Tenn., and he and his wife

are plagued with chiggers all the time. They've never known what to do

about the itch. I will tell them. Thank you!

Have you heard of Dr. Batmanghelidj? He wrote " Your Body's Many Cries

For Water " - and he also promotes water with salt in it.

Thank you Carol, I have ordered a catalog. Years ago I worked for the

Australian Govt, in a remote area, they had a Doctor on hand for the

staff. No matter what was wrong with you this Doctor would prescribe

salt and water; to gargle, bathe, soak in, scrub on etc. We laughed and

called him " Dr. Salt and Water " but looking back now I can see he was

absolutely right! BTW, I scrub salt on mosquito bites, chiggers, and

tick bites, it takes the sting and itch away within 5 minutes!

Hi Evonne,

This is the kind of salt I use -

http://www.celtic-seasalt.com/celticsalt.html

It is the best I have found.

Be sure to click on other links in that page - very interesting

reading

about the necessity of salt - not just sodium chloride (which is table

salt), but all the minerals that are naturally occurring in that type

of

salt.

Hi Everyone:

A friend sent me the following article concerning the use of the

" Right

Kind of Salt " . The article is very long, but it is really interesting!
