Guest guest
Kat, As the sales volume of cholesterol medications drop, so does the recommended cholesterol level drop. So what they are really doing is trying to increase the sales volume of cholesterol medications. This is the same thing that they are doing with blood pressure medications. Its called mass marketing. What is really important, is not the cholesterol level, but determining what is causing the level to be what it is (high or low). Eating PROCESSED oils, and foods cooked in oil, is bad. But more so, blocked arteries, caused by cholesterol, is your body's defense against damage; The cholesterol is trying to block a leak. Was the leak caused by the cholesterol or the cholesterol caused by the leak? -- Donald E.
