Hi Misty,

Here's the link for hoaxbusters: http://hoaxbusters.ciac.org/ I

always try to check things out before I forward them to others or

post them here, and so far hoaxbusters has not let me down.

I'm 100% with you on the irradiated meat, genetically modified foods,

etc. In any discussion, though, I feel it's essential to get the

facts out -- as best I can figure out what they are. My intent is to

dispel unwarranted fear whenever possible. Fear sometimes bordering

on hysteria is all too common in today's world, and it's often not

justified. So if I can help someone bring a little more balanced

thinking into his or her life -- or at least to consider exploring

from a place of non-fear -- then I'm all for it.

I sure do appreciate the opportunities this site offers to explore

and investigate. Thanks!

Jean

analysis, I really base my decisions on my gut feeling... I don't

trust microwaves, but that is me... I also don't trust the people

that tell us pesticides are safe, genetically modified food is safe,

that irradiation is safe... So for me, myself and I, I prefer to not

take a chance and just make the time to boil water or reheat a meal

in the toaster oven.
