Guest guest
Hi Misty, Well Im not sure anything has changed other than maybe she is sleeping better. Right tonsil seems better, but the left is still swollen. I gave her the remedy as you suggested. They were granules and I only gave her one, this ok right? I started Wednesday to last night. What should I do? Thanks, Lisa " Misty L. Trepke " <mistytrepke Wed, 04 Jun 2003 01:25:57 -0000 [s-A] Re: Homeopathy Help Update I'm Back Hi Lisa... Given a history of ear aches, and the swelling now, consider Belladonna 30c, 1 hour for 4 hours and then every 2 hours after that, per day for 2 days... Check in then and let's see where we stand... Guest guest
Hi Lisa... Thank you for checking in so promptly... Ok, here is the perfect opportunity for all of us to examine and reflect on our perceptions and observations... Consider this, for a sleep pattern to shift and for even one tonsil to be improved is dramatic results for only 2 days!!! Keep doing the belladonna for 5 more days and check in after that... Guest guest
You should probably add some sort of Light therapy to the tonsil such as Light Beam Generator or laser light pen. Work the infected area for 15 minutes 3x daily. Shawn - " Misty L. Guest guest
Hi Misty, One question, I'll keep checking her tonsils. Will Belladonna " prove " itself like Pulsatilla? I am just concerned if the tonsil that is swollen gets any more swollen. It is pretty swollen now that there is only a small area in the back of her throat. Just checking because I don't want it to completely close back there... I quit giving her the Belladonna, sorry... I just wasn't sure and she went over her grandmothers. I'll be seeing her this morning, so I'll give her grandmother the Belladonna to give to her. Still every two hours correct? Thanks, Lisa " Misty L. Guest guest
Hi Lisa, Ok, please clarify what you mean by a small area in the back of her throat? When did she last have a dose of belladonna? What other symptoms are present? Is there pus on the tonsil? A fever? Is she complaining of throat pain? Etc.... Any symtpoms outside of the range of the throat that might be useful? Is the left tonsil more swollen than it was before the start of belladonna? How swollen was the right tonsil before the belladonna, and where is it now? You might want her to also garggle with hot salt water, if you can. I would do that at least several times a day... And don't worry about " proving " the remedy, that will only happen when the remedy is no longer needed... But just to be sure you can check in daily if need be... Do every hour for 4 hours, then every 2 hours after that today... Let us know how she is doing tomarrow... Guest guest
Hi Lisa... We also need to know if she is complaining about swallowing and/or breathing, with the swollen tonsil... What does she say about how she is feeling? Be Well, Misty http://www..com , Lisa <malica98@p...> wrote: > Hi Misty, > > One question, I'll keep checking her tonsils. Guest guest
Misty, Just seems the tonsil/adenoid is very swollen, but I don't think it is any more swollen than before. It doesnt look inflamed or anything. She doesn't complain of anything that is the problem. That is why I don't worry too much, but it doesn't help resolve the problem... It is just very swollen. I am not sure if I see pus or mucus, don't know if that is the same thing? Her right doesn't seem swollen at all and I was thinking that is why she doesn't snore as bad. The right wasn't swollen that much before the Belladonna. It is just the left one is so much more swollen. I'll try to get her to gargle, but she has never done that so this could be interesting. Does that help, any more questions please ask. Guest guest
It stimulates the lymphatic system. Sometimes these infections happen because the lymph system doesn't reconize the infection. So you are stimulating the lymph system, which in return will help eliminate the infection. When using a laser pen, move in a clockwise motion. Guest guest
Hi Lisa... Ok, as long as she can breathe and swallow, it really is best to allow the body to takes its time... There is a reason the tonsil is swollen. We tend to think that a swollen tonsil is bad, but in fact it is the natural process of the body in order for the body to heal itself... There is an inner wisdom at work here that needs to be respected... Just like fever, we can rush in to lower a fever, but unless it is extremely high, let the body do what it knows to do to heal itself... Stay with the belladonna and let us know in five days, unless there is dramatic improvement or worsening before then... Guest guest
Misty, Ok I'll let you know how things go. Yes, I am of the mind that something is wrong and causing it to swell. I know the tonsil isn't " bad " . Just the problem of figuring out what is causing the swelling. If I can help it, no one is going to remove any parts of my families bodies... I guess I am like most people, I tend to get a little frantic if something goes wrong... I do know that I am not as bad as I used to be. I've learned to let my daughters immune systems handle the colds. I am guilty of lowering a fever with meds, though. I guess they put the scare in me... What is a extremely high fever to you? All I can say is I am glad the only problems we have had is colds and ear infections (Caitlin only). Now the school year is coming, preschool for Caitlin. Lets see what happens then. Ok, well I'll keep in touch if something dramatic happens. Thanks, Lisa mistylyn trepke <mistytrepke Sat, 7 Jun 2003 19:02:47 -0700 (PDT) Re: [s-A] Homeopathy Checking in Hi Lisa... Guest guest
Hi Lisa... Drastic may have been the wrong word, let us know before the five days are over if there is a significant change, better or worse... For fever I have heard that 104 is when to start getting nervous... So, at about 103 I would really be paying close attention... (Though I can't imagine a mother that would not be already at that point!) Be Well, Misty http://www..com , Lisa <malica98@p...> wrote: > Misty, > > Ok I'll let you know how things go.
