Guest guest
What a fascinating group this is. I saw a post at another group that made me come check you out. I'm a medical transcriptionist, running my own company, who had her world turned totally upside down last year. Last year my daughter (22 at the time) wound up with environmental illness/multichemical sensitivities. After many months of dealing with MDs who don't admit that there is such a thing and then finding an environmental medicine doctor who was 134 miles way from her home who helped her a little bit, I wound up making contact with a naturopath, who in a matter of three days totally fixed her problem, a problem that everyone I talk with who has dealt with EI/MCS swears is incurable. Since that time I have been totally fascinated with the natural healing and the work this doctor does. I've actually taken the ESM (Environmental Stress Management) course that these naturopaths offer for laymen to help keep their family and friends healthy and am working toward getting more experience with the healer's end. Since last November I have developed a whole new outlook on what health care really is, and I have a hard time believing that MDs are into health care...they are into medicine, as their degree implies. Anyway, that is my take on alternative health care. It is much better than what the MDs offer, but it is much less profitable (the doc who fixed Camille's problems wound up charging about 10% of what the environmental MD charged for helping much less, plus she is not requiring the $200-300 a month in supplements that the MD was having her use). Thanks for having this group. Kat
