Hi Cindi,

Since this is a pharmaceutically driven idea, with this legislation they will

win either way. Either the pharmaceutical companies will absorb their

competition and be the only source for these supplements or they will break the

" alternative health consumer habit " and people will be forced to rely on

pharmaceuticals because there will be no other option.

Did you hear how 80% of supplements were taken off the shelf in Australia, this

last week? In one week, 80% of vitamins & minerals were removed from the

shelf!! Why? Because of unsubstantiated rumors the machines involved in making

the pills were tainted. Ironically, the pharmaceuticals being manufactered by

those very same machines were not mentioned nor removed from the public.

Things that make you go, hmmmmmmm....

Be Well,

Misty

Re: Stop SB722- Keep Vitamin/Herbal Supplements Prescription Free

This seems a little weird and backwards to me since they are now changing

quite a few prescription meds to over the counter. Some how I don't think a

lot of doctors are going to want to increase their already-overloaded

practices by having to write prescriptions for vitamins and herbs....

Sounds to me that Dick Durbin is a control freak....
