Guest guest
Does anyone else see a trend? Limiting natural health products in Europe? Limiting natural health products in Canada? Limiting natural health products in America? Be Well, Misty http://www..com Dear Mr. Gupta, I am writing to remind all those who are interested in natural health products and Bill C-420 that the first hour of debate on the bill is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 9, 2003 at 5:30 PM EST. You will be able to view the debate on CPAC, the Canadian Public Affairs Channel, on television or on their website at www.cpac.ca. I will be leading the debate with a twenty minute presentation, and it will be interesting to hear the first response from the other parties. The bill is clear, concise and to the point: Canadians deserve to have the freedom of choice in personal health care restored, and not to have safe natural health products taken from them arbitrarily, without sufficient scientific evidence. Bill C-420, An act to amend the Food and Drugs Act, is the first step in restoring that freedom, and a step towards a healthier Canada. Thank you for your interest and support for this bill, and for spreading the word to others. Together we can send a clear message to government that Canadians will not settle for the status quo, and that they will not be denied the safe, healthy alternatives they desire. If you have ideas/contacts to spread petitions far and wide, please return email and request attachments (press release, bill and petition). It is our hope that the government and Canadians will both be convinced in the end that the people still have the power when it comes to their personal health! Sincerely, Dr. James Lunney, MP Nanaimo-Alberni Tax Center - File online, calculators, forms, and more
