I am not a usual vocal member of this site. However, I do make my

living as a gardenera and feel a need to expand on the comment of

growing peppermint. Yes, it is invasive in an urban " garden bed " ,

but in a large area, it is colorful all season and .... the honey

bees love it! There are many uses for pepermint! My favorite, is to

provide the young neighbor I have who is raising bees a wonderful

source for the bees " hand out " thus about 2 times annually this

young neighbor graces me with 10 quarts of honey from her bees!

You might try using it indoors as an air freshener, a filler in a

floral arrangement, drawer fresheners for my young sons sock drawer

and springs in his tennis shoes in the summer. A great addivitve to

ice cream, teas and garnish on summer " cool " food. And, don't forget

you can store it EZ by placing the leaves in an ice cube try, filling

the tray with water, freexing the cubes and storing in a zip lock.

Drop one min your suntea and you are ready to go!
