Thanks, Misty.

The entire system is political, not scientific.

I am ashamed of the corruption of my profession.

I try to avoid doctors as much as possible. For me they have become the

least trusted, most arrogant 'profession' that I encounter. I actually have

come to believe that to them the title " M.D. " really means " Medical Deity " .

If you get the chance, watch the movie " Patch Adams " . " We're going to make

you more than mere humans - We're going to make you doctors! " . Yes, I

realize that's fiction but it's a common perception of the 'profession'.

As to the FDA, I think their heads are turned away from the people and are

ultimately oriented to the financial best interests of the pharmaceutical

companies. As to 'safe supplements', I do think the manufacturers should

give you what the label on the bottle says. That part I like. To tinker

further with what Mother Nature created would make them unnecessarily

expensive and bordering on pharmaceuticals.

Something else bothering me is why aren't doctors held more accountable for

the deaths they inflict? For anyone else it's considered murder - for

doctors it seems to be just another 'medical mistake'. And they want to

limit malpractice amounts?

With everything our government has been doing lately, it makes one wonder

just whose side THEY are on. (Either you're with us or you're against us)

That's my 2 cents worth.

One fourth of what you eat keeps you alive.

The rest keeps your doctor alive.

Thanks, Skip.

Patch is a good friend of mine. His philosophy is much like mine. My

philosophy is much like his.

I wish the movie was more like his life and practice has truly been. The

truth is more dramatic than the movie story.

Hi Walt,

If your philosophy is similar to that movie, your desire is to heal the entire

person, not just write a prescription and move on?

I wish I could know Patch's true story. Is the movie fact or partially fact

based? I was actually happy about the ending of the movie. The dean deserved

the foot implant he got. :)

Regards,

Skip

Thanks, Skip.

Everything I saw in the movie was fact based but there were so many even

more dramatic things in his life and practice that were not included. I even

participated in a few of them.
