I am with Carolyn in thinking you came to this list for a reason. Me too.

Anyway, about breathing-- This is going to sound way oversimplified, but try

it.

Breathe in for four counts

Breathe out for six, or even eight.

Exhaling for a longer time than you took to inhale is the quickest easiest

least expensive way to engage the parasympathetic nervous system. It is

easiest if you stretch out and feel your tummy rise with the inhalation and

fall with each exhalation. But the main thing is to count to yourself-- In,

two, three, four, Out, two, three, four, five, six. Do this for a couple of

minutes and see what happens. After a time you may need to increase the

counts for the exhale, so you don't get lightheaded.

Lemme know what you experience.

I would say, Annie, that concise and to the point might be more descriptive.

Sometimes it's the simple things that achieve the greatest results....

I haven't.....sounds interesting. I had a friend that did some work with

that in regards to some colon work she had done years ago. It was very

effective for her.

I know you mentioned 'seeing' your bronchial tubes as being open....that

would be one idea, right?

Val --

Have you even " played " with imagery to help with your breathing?

It's also powerful, and I highly recommend it. Let me know if you'd

like some suggestions.
