Teaching Blind Children to ``See''

The appearance all over the world of children who can perform superpsychic

feats has prompted many people to research this phenomenon. One spinoff has

been the effort to teach so-called ``normal'' children to utilize the same

abilities that the superpsychic children seem to be born with (see, for

example, My Story, where superpsychic Inge Bardor talks of Señor Guillermo

Altamirano, the teacher she calls Memo).

 

Of all the individuals who are teaching people to acquire superpsychic

abilities, perhaps the most successful has been Viasheslav Mihailovich

Bronnikov. A native of Feodosia in the Ukraine, Bronnikov has created a

phenomenal method of develop! ing extrasensory perception in both children

and

adults.

 

 

The Bronnikov Method allows children who were born blind to develop an

alternative way of seeing that involves what Bronnikov refers to as a kind

of radar. Like Señor Altamirano, Bronnikov teaches his students about an

inner screen (see SuperPsychics and the Inner TV Screen, by Drunvalo) which,

he says, always pops up at some point in the student's practice. But if the

reports are true, Bronnikov's results far surpass those of teachers in the

West. Even more exciting is that his methods have proved successful with a

few adults -- especially those who are highly motivated to heal.

To promote his method, Bronnikov has founded an Academy of Human Development

in Moscow and is it's president. But though his achievements are

mind-boggling, until now he has had no presence on the Internet except for a

few newspaper articles in Russian. The Spirit of Ma'at is thus in the

positi! on of introducing his work to the Western World.

In a video promoting the Bronnikov method, 9-year-old Sasha Levit of Moscow

demonstrated his ability to see blindfolded, describing his surroundings and

reading an imprint on a medal supplied by one of the presentation attendees.

Sasha has also reportedly expanded his physical vision from 3 percent to 13

percent. On his inner bio-computer screen, Sasha examines the cataract in

his own eye, then goes from there to the cellular level, where he looks at

the chromatin (the chromosome basis for seeing), and checks the nature of

the protein produced by what he is viewing.'' Then he gives his body

directions to correct any abnormalities. Sasha says, ``I possess an inner

vision. I can control the inner computer screen. I can store numbers there

and retrieve them later. I can read with my eyes closed and I have developed

a photographic memory.''

 

During the 1995 Presidential visit to Kiev (Ukra! ine) Hillary Clinton

visited

the clinic in Kiev where kids were going through healing using Bronnikov

method and met the author himself. She commented about her wonderful

experiences in the Kiev hospital for children.

The first publications about Bronnikov and his method appeared in Feodosia

newspapers. In 1994 Bronnikov moved to Moscow, but he is planning to return

to Feodosia in the near future.

How the Method Was Developed

Viacheslav Bronnikov was born in the ancient port and sunny city of Feodosia

in the eastern part of the Crimean peninsula. He says that he wasn't

encouraged by anyone in developing his psychic abilities. To the contrary,

when he attempted to describe his sensations to people around him, he says,

they would tell him it was crazy. Also, he had difficulty communicating

because he stuttered. So as a child he mostly kept silent.

Though reluctant to speak about his psychic knowing, many experiences

convinced him th! at he possessed supernormal abilities. When asked to

describe one of the earliest instances in which these abilities showed up,

he talked of an episode that happened when he was 10 or 12 years old.

While he was visiting his grandparents, Bronnikov saw in his mind's eye that

his parents were quarreling at home, and that his father was breaking

dishes. When the boy got back home, where his parents had already made

peace, he surprised his father by asking him why he had broken the dishes --

then regretted it, when his father questioned him about how he could know

such a thing. Not wanting to be criticized for another one of his crazes,

young Bronnikov said that he'd seen the broken dishes in the trashcan.

But Bronnikov began seriously learning how to use his abilities only when he

was pressed by the total breakdown of his own body. His childhood stuttering

was now accompanied by loss of hearing, vision, and movement coordination.

He looked! deep into his own pyschic knowing and his dream world -- and

there

he found a damaged throat center that he saw had to be revived.

Subsequently, through this use of inner directives and inner viewing,

Bronnikov effectively healed his own problems. And gradually, through this

work on himself, he developed a healing method that could be taught to

others. And which has helped the blind to ``see.''

``Normal vision is very primitive,'' says Bronnikov. ``Without special

devices, we can't see radiation, we can't see microorganisms. The human eye

is a fantastic device, but the mind, the human biocomputer, is even more

fantastic. We just have not learned how to use it.''

Night and Day Processes of the Brain

Darkness is one of the keys to teaching what Bronnikov calls the ``night

mode'' of seeing. For example, as part of 6-year-old Yulia Zaichenko's

program with Bronnikov, she played ball blindfolded.

 

``Night and day processes of th! e brain are very different,'' Bronnikov

tells

us. ``When we shut our eyes and the light no longer comes in, we get a

connection to another source. It has to do with the spinal cord and with

certain energy channels that change the pattern of how our brain works. The

ability to remap the brain [in night mode] is what makes geniuses. We have

found that it's possible for almost any person to learn this. Almost all

children younger than fourteen are able to learn this.''

 

 

At some point in their training with the night mode, a screen pops up in the

student's inner mind. This screen appears to be indispensable to developing

superpsychic abilities, and may indicate the key to Bronnikov's success

rate. In Mexico, Inge Bardor and her fellow students also were

blindfolded -- but if new students could not see the inner screen within a

couple of weeks they were sent home. In China, the psychic teachers told

their students to clear their heads! and concentrate, and achieved, at best,

a 20 percent success rate. Bronnikov appears to be more flexible in his

approach and encourages a sense of fun and discovery. And he is willing to

wait for each student's inner screen to appear. This patience may account

for his nearly 100 percent success with children under the age of 14.

It's Like Dreaming: You Can Do Anything

Bronnikov started to train his daughter when she was six years old, and at

first he had to remind her to practice. Then one day, he was surprised to

find her ``viewing'' a cartoon on her inner screen, where a wolf was chasing

a rabbit. Bronnikov told her to change the plot, and make the rabbit run

after the wolf. ``Doing this kind of activity,'' Bronnikov says,

``stimulates brain development. It is a fast dream state -- but the person

is still wide awake.''

So the Bronnikov Method works a lot like lucid dreaming -- conscious, or

controlled dreaming -- but without going! to sleep. In a lucid dream, it is

possible to do anything you can think of. ``And,'' says Bronnikov, ``it is

the same in the waking dream. You are bound only by your imagination.''

Bronnikov's son, Vladimir, has also received training in the Method. It

began when he was nine. Now 14, Vladimir possesses photographic and

bio-computer memory, can diagnose and heal others, and controls the energy

of his body.

When a CAT Scan was done on Vladimir's brain, Dr. G. V. Taratynova, a

neuropsychologist, reading the CAT Scan results, said that Vladimir was

using about 80 percent of his brain when solving problems, whereas in most

people only about 3 percent of the brain's neuronal cells are active! ``We

are dealing with the ability to control one's own mind,'' says Taratynova,

``and this is the most valuable thing of all that the Bronnikov Method

achieves.''

Yuri Pytev, professor of physics, also has conducted scientific experiments

with Vladimir, recording his abilities to ``see'' objects in other rooms and

in their natural colors -- even when the remote objects were shielded with

colored glass.

Interestingly, Pytev determined that:

Vladimir's viewing feats were interacting with the vision phenomenon! as a

wave,

The wave-length involved was about 3 millimeters; and

The waves -- unlike regular vision -- were not electromagnetic in nature.

Commenting on his son, Bronnikov says, ``It's not that I help my son -- it's

the son who is able to help his dad. He has six forms of [supernormal]

vision now. He can see DNA!''

Adults Use the Training

Doctor P.N. Popov, dean of the Department of Eye Diseases at Tver Medical

Academy, tells a story of Yulia Sokolova. She had a secondary glaucoma, he

says, that made her completely blind and raised the pressure in her eyes to

an acutely painful level. Dr. Popov knew of only one way to deal with this

pain: removal of her eyes. Accordingly, he prescribed this operation, and

scheduled it for the next day. Yulia and her father, however, insisted that

only one eye be taken out at first (the right one). So this was done. Two

days later, Yulia and her parents learned of the Bronnikov method, and

deci! ded to give it a try.

Katya Redkina, 14, who healed herself using the Bronnikov Method, has

completely changed her experience of going to school. She can answer

questions on a test by copying the results from her bio-computer screen --

she simply uploads her textbook into the computer before the test, she says.

 

Yulia was a fast learner and soon she was able to remove the pain using her

inner vision. And although her doctors were still afraid that the eye would

burst from the pressure inside, when they tested her they found that she had

lowered the pressure to a normal level.

Yulia's story is unusual because she is a young married woman. Usually

Bronnikov and the people who work with him deal only with children. Says

Yulia, ``After only four sessions, I was able to see multicolored squares

and circles. Now my life has a goal -- I want to teach other blind kids to

see.''

This event so impressed Dr. Popov that he himself went throug! h Bronnikov's

training. ``Having been a doctor for a long time, it's hard for me to

understand this -- I was oriented toward being a ``healer.'' But this work

is telling me that, no, we must teach people, so that they can heal

themselves.'' Now Popov uses his new abilities to help his own patients. In

one instance, Popov reports that he was able to teach a woman patient who

had been blind from birth to see six lines of text on the vision charts. ``I

will never forget that!'' he says.

Nadezhda Petrova, a 16-year-old artist, creates her paintings with the help

of her bio-computer. When she uses it, everything happens ideally,'' but

without the bio-computer, she just can't make it perfect.'' She even

consults the bio-computer when she mixes her paints. And sometimes, she

claims, she even talks to it.

 

Yulia Sokolova is not the only adult who has profited from Bronnikov's

methods. Lozhnikova, who was disabled to the point where she co! uld just

barely move at all, went through the first stage of the Bronnikov method

training, and in just three weeks she ``came back to life,'' as she put it.

Then, since she was already a medical specialist, Sokolova began working

with Bronnikov, helping others to do what she had done. She says that in the

three years since that time, about 3,500 people have gone through the

training.

Sokolova tells about a group of 30 visually disabled children who were able

to complete Stages 1 through 3 of the Bronnikov Method in three months.

``They all improved their regular seeing ability by at least 50 percent,''

says Dr. Lozhnikova, ``and every child achieved `mind vision' or `radar

seeing.' They all can now both see and read.''

The Stages of the Bronnikov Method

There are 18 stages that people go through in developing supernormal

abilities using the Bronnikov method. Here is a description of the first

five stages:

Stage 1. Developing t! he ability not to get sick and tired.

Stage 2. Developing photo memory and the ability to see oneself from inside

on a bio-computer screen.

Stage 3. Developing the ability to read and ``see'' one's surroundings with

eyes closed.

Stages 4, 5. Higher education (college level) in the following fields: a

specialist in human life and health diagnosis -- also able to make

corrections; a specialist in businesses diagnosis and commercial and

financial risks; a psychologist; a specialist in exploring thin-matter world

geography; Bronnikov method teacher.

Each stage takes ten 2-hour sessions.

Bronnikov Method Sample Exercises

The Key to Superconsciousness, a documentary about Bronnikov by Igor

Shadhal, shows some basic exercises for Stage 1 of the Bronnikov method.

Here are two of them:

Start rubbing your hands. Be aware that you are activating the two centers

in your left and right brain which correspond to the two hands. Now stop

ru! bbing, and slowly move hands apart 5 or 6 inches. Do you feel something

between the hands? Maybe a tension? Perhaps a palpable warmth? Be aware that

this feeling is happening in your brain. There is an inter-neuronal

connection between two centers in your brain.

For this you need a partner. One of you is going to be the ``teacher'' and

the other the ``student.'' Stand with your open hands facing each other's at

a distance of from 3 to 7 inches. Now, make and feel an energetic contact

between the palms of your hands. If you are playing the part of teacher,

make passes with hands and feel the energy. As the student, just remain

still and focus on feeling it. Gradually, make the distance bigger -- up to

from 3 to 5 feet. After the energetic contact can be felt at this greater

distance, the teacher uses both hands to ``move the energy in a loving

manner'' from the bottom upwards. After, both teacher and student share

their sensations and ex! periences with the exercise.

How Far Can We Go?

``We see that our organism possesses great abilities,'' Bronnikov says.

``And we all know that our mind uses only 4 to 5 percent of our brain.

Simple and comprehensive exercises return powerful results. The main result

is in the brain development and expansion. We possess knowledge on

superconscious functions, and we give students knowledge that allows them

not to get sick. What we are doing isn't supposed to replace medicine. We

want to give the medical profession a new instrument.''

The idea that everyone might be able to learn to access inner vision holds

immense possibility and hope. Can we even imagine what the world might look

like if we all could ``see''?
