Guest guest
Hi Dr Stoll & everyone, Just in case others were curious as to what your wellness suggestions were, I have copied your How to Be Healthy article... Thank you again for letting me reprint this information... Misty http://www..com How To Be Healthy http://askwaltstollmd.com/faq.html Free holistic health protocol, with resources, for SASE. This is in response to those many requests of " What are the most important things for me to do to be healthier? " There are many paths to the top of the mountain! This common comment by the great sages of human history is very true. The paths to vigorous health and wholeness are as varied as there are different humans. The trick is to learn about a number of them so the individual can find ONE s/he is willing to do long enough to let it work. Getting started along the path is the hardest thing to do. Once started, the healthy feeling (and increased horsepower) generated gives one the strength to take the next step. The problem is that some people won't change their diet on a bet whereas they might learn to relax or exercise. Others won't exercise for any reason but might change their diet, etc., etc. The idea is to learn enough, about enough approaches, that one will find SOMETHING with which to get started. The 3 most likely things to work for everyone are: 1. Aerobic exercise 20 minutes 3 times a week 2. For dietary recommendations, follow the information in the book Healing Power of Whole Foods I referenced under the article about Candidiasis Syndrome on the web site and 3. Practicing an effective form of Skilled Relaxation 20 minutes twice a day. I have prepared a detailed protocol, explaining each of these 3 approaches--including a hierarchical listing of references to make it easy for people to get started. This entire document is reprinted in my book. I would be happy to send a copy of the protocol, free, to anyone if they would send me a stamped, self-addressed envelope with a note about what is wanted (so I don't get the wrong information to the right person).
