Hi Deana & everyone...

 

Thank you for sharing this information with us, I realize it is very

personal territory. Obviously it is directly affecting the quality

of your life. The goal of is to explore such

issues and then provide a forum for verifying the efficacy of

natural health solutions.

 

It is my understanding that diabetes is a deep seated disease. As

such diet may be used to hold it together better after the

diagnosis, and yes foods can aggravate the situation, but it takes

more than diet to create the conditions that are necessary to result

in this chronic disease.

 

I think the real question becomes why should your body have

difficulty in metabolizing anything? Instead of what it can't

metabolize. Does that make sense to you?

 

Can you tell us more about what was happening in the period of 2-3

years before and all the way through the time of the diagnosis? Any

personal or professional upsets or changes? Any other health

conditions, old or new? What was significant about that time of

your life?

 

Then as a separate issue to the diabetes, we can discuss Fit For

Life. I really am not vested with Fit For Life being the " perfect "

diet for anyone else. I have repeatedly verified that I feel better

and lose weight when I follow this approach. I am happy with that.

I wanted to write an article on weightloss, so I chose the method I

am most familiar with and confident in. Discussion or disagreement

is more than welcomed- as long as it is good spirited!

 

One addendum- everyone is welcomed to join in on this topic, but

since this is a site devoted to natural health solutions, let us all

please keep the discussion of diet and weight loss to solutions

involving real foods, as nature intended- no plastic foods as I call

them, no pills, powders, or other food-like products that have been

manipulated by man. Thank you.
