Guest guest
Hello everyone... I thought I would do this a little differently- rather than just email the link to my new article, I thought I would send the whole article. Is this easier? Feel free to email me and let me know if you have a preference. Healing Arthrithis From The Inside Out. By Misty L. Trepke " There are over fifteen hundred diseases, and only the transgression of Nature is the cause of most of them. Therefore, by removing the cause, a multitude of symptoms will disappear. " - Dr. Randolph Stone, D.O., D.C., author of Health Building: The Conscious Art of Living Well. In the 1900's 20% percent of people suffered from degenerative diseases, nowadays that number is higher than 70%!! But before we pat ourselves on the back and shrug that that is the cost of living longer, we must consider the research and work of, Dr. Samuel Epstein, M.D., who has statistically proven there is more at work than " old age " . An all too common degenerative disease is arthritis. Can arthritis be cured? Most medical doctors say no, absolutely not, there is no cure for arthritis in any of its forms- but at least one doctor, Dr. Giraud W. Campbell, D.O., has been claiming that all types of arthritis can be cured, and in his book, A Doctor's Proven New Home Cure for Arthritis, he outlines exactly how he has helped hundreds of people to cure their arthritis. How? By understanding the cause of arthritis- not as an infection, nor as a result of bad luck, but as a result of improper dietary habits- and by explaining how to improve them! Now, this may come as bad news to those suffering from arthritis who find the joys of certain foods too overpowering to consider changing, but for those whose pain is such that they are willing to try, this may be very good news indeed. One of the main tenets of this program is that ALL processed foods are out! This includes: canned, frozen, " enriched " - which is just a sly way of saying that all the nutrients have been taken out and then afterwards a few (possibly synthetic) have been added back, etc., etc., etc. Published back in 1972 I am sure this author would have been appalled to know that in time not only did the public have to concern themselves with additives, preservatives, dyes, pesticides, hormones, polluted water, but now also the practice of genetically modifying foods and even irradiating them! But these are the realities that the current arthritis sufferer must navigate through. He also suggests the removal of all non-organic, whole wheat flour products. So what does that leave after eliminating alcohol, sodas, coffee, non-herbal teas, most if not all flour products, all artificial sweeteners, all pre-prepared products like: breakfast cereals, quick-cooking oatmeal, instant rice and mashed potatoes, all frozen foods, and all canned foods? Actually a lot! He stressed the role of fresh, raw fruits and vegetables. He also strongly suggests organ meats such as liver, tripe, etc. For myself, I have a very hard time suggesting meat, especially organ meat due to the hormones and pesticides farm animals are exposed too, but also because of the burden that meat places on the body, to mention nothing about the experiences of the animal- but it is a recognized fact that starchy diets aggravate arthritic conditions. My personal solution would be to stock up on fruits and vegetables, supplement with living foods such as sprouts and wheatgrass and compliment with legumes and other vegetarian sources of protein such as organic tofu. But what is put into the body is only half of the arthritic solution according to Dr. Campbell. As importantly, one must pay attention to what comes out, or doesn't as the case may be. Dr. Campbell says that every arthritic condition is created by overwhelmed organs of elimination: the colon, kidneys and skin, and only by assisting these overworked organs can arthritis be relieved. Therefore, the first step of his program is a day of fasting- absolutely no food, and no drink, except for ample clean water. This allows the body, and especially these organs to experience a vacation- perhaps their first in months, years or even decades! After the first twenty four hour fast, the following week (or more depending on the severity of your condition) should be spent on the fresh, raw fruits and vegetables. Here he also recommends liver, but my alternative would be 1-2 ounces of wheatgrass juice daily. During this week the rate of digestion should be monitored. This can be done easily by ingesting charcoal tablets, corn, or beets which should mark the stool in a unique enough way as to determine how long it has taken to move through the system. If any stool takes longer than 12 hours, it is time to look at an internal bath. While this is never a fun project, it is sometimes important to give nature a little help, but just a little. Laxatives, enemas, etc., should not be over abused as that the body may become dependent on them. For very severe or prolonged cases of constipation, colonics might be sought out. But for everyone suffering from constipation, daily servings of fruits and vegetables in addition to organic yogurt with live cultures should aid the body in restoring tone and regular movements. Guest guest
Thanks, Misty. So far as I have been able to learn, the only reason this approach is not embraced by the current monopoly is because it makes little money for the practitioner and it takes the control of the condition out of the hands of the practitioner and places it in the hands of the individual--where it belongs. I am ashamed of my profession for inhibiting progress towards the truth for greed and power reasons! I hope you can find the time to put this on my bulletin board. An average of 23,000 visits a month for the past 6+ months would get the word out to a lot of people. Namaste` Walt - " Misty L.
