Namaste Janani,

I found a delightful page @ URL:

http://www.hindunet.org/day_as_hindu/prayers.htm

TITLE: Prayers for Daily Rituals

This selection includes:

Bedtime Prayer -

Before going to bed, Hindus thank God for the day that has passed and

seek blessings for the day that is yet to come

Namaste,

The very last mantra of Ishavasya Upanishad is:

bhuuyishhThaam te nama uktim vidhema |

To Thee we offer in abundance our words of salutation.

Ch. 11 of Bhagavad-Gita is the finest 'theophany' one can

recite as thanks. All 'stotra'-s are essentially thanks; namaskaar and

praNaam to God, even silently, carry the same mesage.

Regards,
