Guest guest
PRIYA BHAGAVAT BANDUVU, It is not a tale from Upanishads or Puranas. It is from my personal experience. Since the Almighty showed us the way in Gita, preaching thus " Prasparam Bhodhayantha " ., I would like to put before you the Sunami of Karuna He showed upon my family, with a little of a Prayer together with Poorthi Saranagathi. (The miralce was narrated by me to Shri Raghava Rao garu in person, when I visited Shri Rao two years ago and he requested me to post it to our members but to my poor memory I could not do it earlier) It was in some years ago, when my second son Chy.Sunil Kumar appeared for Engineering Entrance Test. He prepared well and got a good rank. However, due to decision of AP Government to reserve some percentage of seats to Women Category, though Chy. Sunil got good rank, the chances of him getting a Government Seat seemed remote. I used to visit JNTU premises regularly to check the postion since the commencement of the Councilling. On the day of Chy Sunil's councilling, there were only 5 seats available in Government Quota and Chy Sunil rank is far behind at 18 on the day. The day beagan. I was reciting Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Stotra and my wife Chy Jagadeeswai reciting Sri Lalitha Sahasara Nama Stotra continuously, since early in the morning from 3.30 AM. Not far behind Chy Sunil waking up at 5.30 AM, started reciting Sri Hanuman Chalisa from 6.15 AM and went on and on. And finally he said, " Come Dad !Let us go for Councilling. " ( I was told later on that he recited Hanuman Chalisa for 108 times on the day befor councilling) It was exactly 11.00 AM and the councilling for him was slated at 12 Noon. We started from Gandhinagar and My wife said, " We will take blessings of Hanuman of Chikkadapally:. So we reached Hanuman Temple Chikkadapally and offered prayers. We reached JNTU Campus near Mahavir Hospital in time for the councilling. The convener appeared on time and informed us that due to unforseeen circumastnaces, the councilling would start only after 2.00 PM and requested to bear the inconvenicence. We settled in the seats and I moved to my place of work, requesting my wife to look after the interests of Chy Sunil. When I returned from my place of work it was 6.00 PM in the evening and I was given an account of amazing happenings at Coucilling. The happenings are nothing shot but a miracle showered out of natural love for His Bhaktas of the Almighty. This was how my wife Chy Jagadeeswari narrated with Tears of Joy. " The convener came out to the dias at 3.00 PM and announced to the gathering that 3 seats from Chennai University and 1 seat from Jadavpur (Calcutta) University received from respective Universities on " Exchange Basis Agreement " are being offered to the candidates who are called for to-day and these would be only for the day. The payment structure is not known " . Chy Sunil's position was 12 by that time and all the Government of AP seats are already alloted-to, by the time., the announcement was made. That means, unless 11 candidates reject the offer there is no chance of Chy Sunil getting a Government Quota seat., for which only I am prepred to pay as a principle. Time passed by and by 7.00 PM in the night, there was only one seat available, that too from Jadavpur University. There was one candidate who was being pamphered by his father and uncle to accpet the seat. I heard the boy, who is from Cuddapah, arguing his father to pay in for Private College, as he could not communicate in English ata all and with a seat offered to him near his town, he argued that he would be at home with the seat. So, at about 7.30 PM in the night, the candidate from Cuddapah has given his consent rejecting the offer of seat from the convener to a quota seat from Jadavpur (Calcutta) University and finally Chy Sunil Kumar was called in for councilling. We were all enthralled at the Mercy of the Almighty. Chy Sunil grabbed the opportunity and took the seat with gratitude to the Convener and his team. Finally, when we knew that only Rs.800\-/ (Rs. Eight hundred only) has to be paid in toto in the first year,Including the all, the tution fee being a meagre Rs.108\-for the entire year and Rs.108\- for the next three years), our joy knew no bounds. Chy Sunil is in a Senior Grade Production Manager in an Australian Medical Publishing House, heading its production unit at New Delhi, and happily married to a soft-ware Engineer in IBM blessed with a girl child. This is all, we all firmly believe, is possible only because of prayers with sincere devotion, specially by Chy Sunil on the day of his councilling. My Dear Bhagavat Bandhu, just pray, pray and pray, and He will not fail us. His Karuna rasa knew no bounds. JAI SRIMANNARAYANA.
