LOVE is one of the most beautiful and wonderful thing in this universe. There is

nothing that cannot be achieved in this world with Love. Love Plays a very

important role in each and every individual's life. Many people have many

opinions, misconceptions and meanings about the word LOVE. It all depends on the

person who perceives it. When we listen about love, some people take it in a

very positive way, some take it casual and some take it in a negative way

combining it with sex.

 

Love can be anything, it lives in every individual and comes out in different

forms. A Mother loves her children, Father loves his children, a Master loves

his/her disciple, a disciple loves his/her Master, a brother loves his sister or

brother, a sister loves his brother or sister, a child loves his/her parents, a

friend loves another friend, etc. etc.

 

Love is romance in one of its aspects. Romance is such a nice thing that it can

be applied to different situations. After all everything in nature is romance.

Most of the people understand the relationship between the man and woman is

romance, but infact it is much higher. A beautiful sunrise is a romance, a song

is a romance, beautiful poetry is also romance, a piece of art can be very

romantic. A hug from a dear friend or a dearer one is romantic. Even kiss of a

son to his father is romance. You can multiply them according to your quality.

There is nothing much higher romance than enjoying the deeper levels of

spiritualism.

 

The planet Venus governs love, beauty and balance on this earth. Beauty is

understood and expressed through forms in the average level. Hence Venus is

bound by the lower aspect of Saturn, form or limitations. The force that tries

to break up the forms to give expansion is governed by Mars. For this reason,

the love of Venus is clouded with the emotion of Mars.

 

Master E.K. says, At the present stage of evolution the effect of Venus is very

rarely found free from the emotion of Mars. Love means, for the majority of

mankind, the response of the desire and mental bodies, to the beauty expressed

through form. Love is understood as only love towards a person, a thing or a

concept. This is an essential factor in evolution, because the concept of love

should give sufficient stir to the lower vehicles for the transformation of the

very basic nature of man. The response on the lower planes, through the agency

of form, stirs up the various components of the lower vehicles, until form

raises man to realise the ‘power through the arrangement of things’. The mere

presence of a beautiful form causes rearrangement of the psychic levels. The

change that follows is like that of an iron bar into a magnet. Mere

rearrangement of atoms and molecules on the lower plane is necessary to make the

innate power of magnetism manifest.

 

Then only, it is realised that pure love exists in the null-point of various

magnetic currents. The pure ray of Venus represents this state of poise " . The

concept of beauty in man exists in physical forms, when he is governed by Mars

on the lower plane. This concept is raised to mental forms, when Mercury

collaborates with Venus in evolution. This is the starting point of meditation.

When man commences to think of a beautiful form in the absence of a physical

vehicle form, he is free from the bondage of matter. But man at first requires

material moulds of beauty, before he conceives beauty without form. Venus in his

higher levels, induces and accelerates the realisation. The process of creation

is from thought-form to matter form. Conversely, the path of liberation is from

matter form to thought-form. Thought form retains the power of beauty in mind.

In the horoscope of those who are on the lower level, Venus rules over the

glamour and beauty. He is generally influenced by Mars. For those, who live in

the higher level of personality, Venus gives the love of beauty through form and

later, through concept with the aid of colour combinations. At a still higher

level of personality, he expresses the love of beauty through concept with the

aid of poetry, a subtler vehicle. When the consciousness exists in soul-levels,

Venus transforms the love of beauty into love as beauty. Love as beauty is the

first experience of truth.

 

Mars presides over the battle of life in spiritualism, just as he governs wars

on the mundane level. The positive dynamism of Mars is the first requirement of

spiritualism. Mars gives the power to fight and resist. The power of personality

is expressed through this planet. Quickness, sharpness and firmness are his good

traits. Brutality, violence and carelessness are his bad traits. Spiritual

training makes a man eliminate these bad traits. At all levels Mars gives

expansion and power of expression to the personality. The power to renounce

anything instantly is caused by a good Mars. Above all he has in him the spirit

of sacrifice.

 

Mars governs the vibrations of the blood-red colour and the iron content of

blood. The chemical reactions of the blood cause very strong Sex-impulses and

Mars governs the function of preparing the reproductory fluids from blood. The

link of the vital body between the physical and the mental is a hard shell of

Mars vibrations. Since Mars also gives the strength to master ones own vitality,

man is called forth to subdue the beast of sex and the ‘trials of Hercules’ are

successfully passed through. Crude methods of controlling sensual thoughts and

hatred for others are the attributes of Mars on the lower planes.

 

The whole evolution is an adjustment between power and beauty. The power of man

works restlessly on the mundane plane in mass levels, while the beauty of woman

controls it. The first result is that the powerful man tries to possess the

beauty of woman for his own indulgence. The nature of woman is to seek

protection under the power of man. As a consequence woman comes to bear all

troubles and tortures meted out to her by the primitive man. The forbearance and

patience of woman leads to a softening of the power of man. Expression of beauty

through finer forms is the eventual result. The giant primitive race of man is

transformed into one of angelic beauty. Finally, there is the happiest blending

of beauty and power in the forms of man. The role of woman serves the mission of

Venus to raise man from his bondage in matter to the realisation in his soul

consciousness. When the concept of beauty is raised from matter to mind, Mars

gradually loses his hold over these vehicles of descending egos. For this

reason, the higher initiations stipulate the presence of a woman.

 

A person possessing the quality of Venus - pure love will be the centre of

attraction in any group or place. People love to be with him, talk to him and

share with him. Often this is misunderstood by many. In the present day society,

thinking of many individuals go negative when they see a male and female sitting

together, walking together or talking to each other. They don’t try to

understand or think about what relation these two people have, but usually a

comment comes that they are flirting or in some negative way. The male and

female can be father and daughter, a brother and sister, a master and a disciple

or two good friends. Love of a person can only be understood by another who

possess it. Those who do not possess the quality of love and affection comments

on other, as their primitive nature is to doubt others which shows their own

mentality and reflections of their mind through expression.

 

Usually a man gets attracted to a woman. Many people say the attraction in a

female is first her breasts and the genitals and then the rest of the body. If

we go into the deeper levels of consciousness from where we have come, the

formation of the baby starts from the mothers womb through the genitals, he

takes birth through the genitals, the mother feeds the baby through her breasts,

but finally the male gets attracted to them. The purpose of saying this is only

to show the elevation of man to raise from lower instincts to the higher planes

of consciousness. This is only a perception of a male disciple.

 

Besides getting attracted to a female for the sensual pleasures and sex, if we

go into the deeper levels, a mother takes her child near to her heart and hugs

the child to show all her love and affection, to give support and courage to the

child that she is always there to take care, likewise a father takes his son or

daughter, a brother takes his sister, a sister takes her brother, or a friend

takes another nearer to him/her, irrespective of sex, and shower their love and

affection. Though there is difference in sex, for the elevated and the people

who possess pure love, take everything positive and love the other, help them

and extend their co-operation whenever required.

 

For the person possessing lower instincts, who is trapped in the sensuality and

sex, understands everything in the negative.

As per the science of numerology, Venus is governed by number 6 and Mars is

governed by Number 9. Venus indicates Love and affection, Mars indicates war,

conflict, hatred etc. from this angle if we consider anywhere, in any form, we

can always say that Love is the only weapon in this universe which can conquer

anything, anytime. There is no powerful weapon than love. If we combine Mars and

Venus, merging love and affection, war conflict, hatred etc. etc. the reminder

will always beLOVE, which wins laurels. Add the number of Venus 6 and number of

Mars 9, 6+9=15, 1+5 again gives 6, i.e., Venus. Here Mars is defeated by the

love of Venus.

 

If you like to merge one with the other it is always the Venus which wins, if

you are interested in doubling your individual powers it will be always Mars,

(like 6 x 9 = 54 again gives 5+4=9), but does not give peace or happiness at any

point of time. It is to the individual to decide which path he chooses and face

the consequences accordingly.

 

It is always better to have a tinge of Mars in every human but with a lump of

Venus which makes the individual raise from the lower plane to higher plane and

help the humanity and brotherhood at large. Now let all of us travel from Mars

to Venus, i.e., emotional attraction to pure love, which is nothing but Bhakthi.

In Bhakthi there is no separation. It is all so pure that it gives two entities

oneness, like individuals consciousness merging in the universal. So let us love

in its true sense – there is no separation in love.
