“We see that Bhagavan comes to Bali Chakravarty as

Vamana murti and asks for three feet of land.

Thereafter, taking a form that measures the whole

world (‘ullagallanda Perumal’), He takes Bali

Chakravarty unto Him. What is the philosophy behind

this?”

 

Sri.Sri.Muralidhara Swamiji

 

“Once, a wealthy person who came to have darshan of

Bhagavan Yogirramsuratkumar, gracing the Town of

Tiruvannamalai, told him, “ I am ready to offer you

anything I own. If necessary I am willing to offer you

every thing that I have.” But, the Mahan said, “I

don’t want all your possessions, but I want the

possessor.” This is the philosophy of Vamanavathar.

 

What is the use if we offer all our possessions to the

Lord but do not offer ourselves (surrender unto) to

Him? We should offer our whole self to the Lord.”
