On account of his divine right and purity of truthfulness, his command

was adhered to by the poison. While saving the life of Shyama, Baba's

voice played a prominent role. Now we understand the efficacy of Baba's

voice. Even poison was obedient to Baba. Death did not dare to disobey

Baba.

 

Only Lord Shiva was able to keep poison under control. He alone was able

to keep snakes as ornaments. That Parameshwara is Eswara. The ascending

fire was commanded to keep quiet by Baba. He ordered the fire to be

quiet and harmless. Soon the fires receded. Uiey became quiet. Baba has

power over fire as well. All the five elements are tamed by Baba.

 

When the cyclone was about to devour, Shirdi Baba commanded it to go

back. In a few moments, the storm disappeared and there was only a

gentle shower. There was calmness and the sky was clear with the moon

shining. Water, wind and sky are also very obedient to Baba. The entire

cosmos acknowledged the supremacy of Baba and his power. The voice of

Baba is bur the sound of Pranava. It is Om. Om is the source of all

sounds. It is the creator. Sai Baba is but that great Om. Om is the

source. Om is the under current of all. Om is the culmination of all.

 

Baba can speak from anywhere with or without his body as well. He talked

to the people of Shirdi many a noble truth. Precious advice and

preaching were delivered by Baba. Blessed were the people who had heard

him. They are lucky to he benefited by his instructions.

 

Even now Baba speaks from Samadhi. How can we listen to his voice? The

external sound of Baba is now absent. It is now an inner voice in every

one of us. He is available in all our hearts and from there he speaks,

he declares, " I live in every heart and rule over every heart. "

 

Sai's Samadhi is not anywhere else. It is in the devotee's heart. It is

from there that Baba speaks. He speaks only love. Those who understand

the language of heart's love can alone understand it. Baba's words can

be understood only by his loving devotees. If you do not hear his voice,

it means you are deaf mentally and it also means that you have no

devotion towards Baba.

Your body may not be near the Samadhi of Baba, but your mind should be

not only close to Baba, but should be immersed in Baba. Mind has only

two dwelling places-one is Baba and the other is the world of Maya. If

your mind is not given to Baba, it means that it is caught in Maya.

Therefore Baba said that every devotee should have two qualities. One is

patience and the other is sincerity-Be a sincere devotee and wait for

Baba's grace with patience.

 

The sincerity and faith of Shyama must be present in us to win Baba's

grace. Then, we too will be protected as Shyama was protected.
